Krystina began her journey into the cosmetology field after working as a shampoo tech at our salon in 2004. She graduated Madison Institute of Cosmetology in 2006 and in 2009 she returned to Elements of Style Salon and Day Spa as a full time Stylist. Krystina's clients love her because she is honest and has an ability to maintain your look or change it up with the latest trends in color and design. She can keep you classic and modern or something more dramatic and edgy. Krystina is very passionate about her craft and loves giving that "WOW" factor to each and every guest in her chair.
She has a dedication to continuing education and continuing to grow as a stylist which makes her an important asset to our salon. In 2010 and 2011 Krystina attended a variety of outside education including a Francisco Villa seminar in Frederick in early 2010 and two Mirabella make-up classes. She also attended the Salon Centric Ocean City Hair Show in 2010 and 2011, where she took the newest trends in color and cutting back to the salon! In April of 2011 she attended the Redken Exchange on 5th Avenue in New York City, where Redken stylists learn from the best. She received a certificate in "Cut and Know Why" and plans on attending the prestigious academy again in early 2012 where she plans on getting certified in design through Redken. The most fun Krystina had this summer was being 1 of 4 stylists chosen at Elements of Style to take a trip to Charlotte, NC to be a guest at the Redken World Tour Fashion Show, which demonstrated the new fall looks in color, design, and upstyles. She also met some infamous Redken artists with whom she was able to ask questions and socialize with. It was a huge honor and privilege!
Krystina, as well as a thriving stylist, is also a single mom . Even with her busy schedule she takes her daughter to cheerleading and dance classes. She loves working out and being outdoors. As a huge Raven's fan, you can find her cheering on our home team during football season! Krystina values her clients so much and understands they are busy people with busy lives and wants to make life easier on them; so come on in and take a chance! She looks forward to meeting you!!
