Melody started her career as a cosmetologist in 2009 when she graduated, with honors, from the Carroll County Career and Technology center in Westminster. She was then accepted into the associate program here at Elements of Style. While in this 9 month extensive training program, Melody was mentored by a master stylist, had various comprehensive tests and performed many services on models before receiving her masters degree in July 2010.

 

 Melody strives to make long lasting client relationships while pursuing her love for styling and creating fashions. She comes to work each day with new, trendy, fashion-forward ideas for her clients thanks to her love of advanced education. Melody has been to numerous design classes as well as trade shows since the very beginning of her career. These classes include the Ocean City hair show in 2010 and 2011, Mirabella makeup classes, Redken color and design classes, Pureology cutting and shaping classes as well as formal styling classes and many more. In August of 2011 she felt honored to be chosen to attend a red carpet fashion show in Charlotte NC along with 3 fellow stylists, where she learned the newest trends by New York City's finest Redken artists.

 

 She feels it is important to stay current in this ever changing industry that has become her passion. Melody feels honored to be a part of the Elements of Style family and looks forward to giving each one of her clients a breath-taking look that represents their personal style.
